Cancellation & Refund Policy

Customer cancellations
- 7 or more days before the event: 100% refund, minus payment processing fees.
- 3 to 7 days before the event: 50% refund.
- Less than 72 hours before the event: No refund. The Chef has already committed time, planning, and in many cases purchased ingredients.
Chef cancellations
If a Chef cancels, you will receive a full refund. We will also work with you to find a replacement Chef for your date when possible.
Rescheduling
Reschedule requests submitted more than 7 days in advance are accommodated when the Chef has availability, at no additional charge. Reschedule requests inside 7 days are at the Chef's discretion and may be treated as a cancellation.
Force majeure
For severe weather, natural disasters, government orders, or other events outside reasonable control, ChefXperience may, at its discretion, offer a credit or refund regardless of the timing tier above.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Payment processing fees may be non-refundable.
Disputes
Concerns about food quality or service must be raised within 48 hours of the event so we can investigate with the Chef. See our Terms of Service for the full dispute process.
