Notice: This document is a general marketplace template. It is not legal advice. Have qualified counsel review before relying on it.

Your responsibility to disclose

You are responsible for disclosing all food allergies, intolerances, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions for yourself and every guest at your event. Disclosure must be made at booking and re-confirmed with the Chef before service. Undisclosed allergies can lead to serious illness or death.

Risks of food preparation and dining

Despite reasonable precautions, food allergies and foodborne illness risks can exist whenever food is prepared and consumed. Risks include but are not limited to:

  • Allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis.
  • Cross-contact with allergens in a residential kitchen, which cannot be guaranteed allergen-free.
  • Foodborne illness from raw, undercooked, or improperly stored ingredients.
  • Choking hazards.

ChefXperience is a marketplace

ChefXperience is a marketplace connecting customers with independent chefs. Chefs are not employees of ChefXperience. Each Chef is solely responsible for menu selection, ingredient sourcing, food handling, and service.
